The tenor Juozas Janužas is in his first year of MA studies in singing at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Professor Virgilijus Noreika. He often gives concerts, and sings with wind ensembles and chamber and symphony orchestras. In 2011, he became a laureate of the international competition "Kaunas Sonorum", and the same year he received a B group diploma (for the best performance of an aria) at the Competition for Young Singers dedicated to the 775th anniversary of Šiauliai. In 2014, he was awarded first prize in the TV competition "I Sing", and became a laureate/diploma winner at the III International Youth Music Festival-Competition "Le strade d'Europa". In 2015, Juozas won a diploma in the International Mykolas Kleopas Oginskis Competition, and in 2017 he became a winner in the Stasys Baras Singing Competition (for tenors).
