Julija Sadaunykaitė (1989) has studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, also she was in a traineeship at the Mozarteum University in Zalcburg, in the class of professor Peter Lang. The pianist has finished her master studies at the VDU Music Academy, the class of associate professor Donaldas Račys as well as at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland in Glasgow where she has studied with the professor Fali Pavri. Julija has been awarded with the Calder Ramsay prize at the Claude Debussy Competition. Moreover, she has won the second prize at the Bamber-Galloway Competition. In 2015 the pianist won the Grand Prix at the International Valeta Piano Competition, and in 2016 she was awarded with the second prize at the International Aldona Dvarionaitė Competition-Festival for Young Pianists and Teachers, as well as two first prizes (solo and art of accompaniment) at the international competition "Art and Education in 21st century".
