Adam Piórkowski (1993) was born in Poland. He graduated from Gdansk Academy of Music with distinction under the tutelage of Kordian Góra. The pianist has won prizes at the 3rd Baltic International Piano Competition in Gdańsk and the Jerzy Waldorff Prize at the 47th Polish Piano Festival in Słupsk. He has performed with orchestras under the baton of George Tchichinadze, Wojciech Rajski, Zygmunt Rychert, and Sylwia Anna Janiak. Adam also plays in Piano Duo with his colleague Mikołaj Sikała. The duo have won prizes in "four hands" and "two pianos" categories at the International Suzana Szorenyi Duo Competition in Bucharest.
