The tenor Victor Mendelev completed his studies at the Belarusian State Academy of Musiс in 2015. Since 2012, he has been a soloist at the National Academic Bolshoi Opera and Ballet Theatre of the Republic of Belarus. He won first prize in the VII Open Competition of Patriotic Songs and Poetry "Radzimy May Daraga" (Belarus), and second prize in the International Competition "Romansiada 2013" (Russia), the II Open Competition Stanislaw Moniuszko "Ubelskaya swallow" (Belarus), the II International Christmas Vocal Competition (Belarus), and the I International Vocal Competition named after F. Chaliapin.
