The soprano Kristina Petrauskas was born in Detroit, Michigan (USA). She attended Eastern Michigan University, where she studied instrumental music education (oboe), and voice performance. Kristina was active in Detroit’s Lithuanian community before moving to Lithuania to pursue a career in voice. In 2010, she began studies in voice performance at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre under Professor Asta Krikščiūnaitė. She completed her BA degree in voice performance in 2015, and her MA degree in 2017. Kristina participates actively in competitions, master-classes and concerts throughout Europe and the United States.
