The baritone Žygimantas Galinis graduated with a BA from Vytautas Magnus University Music Academy in 2014. In 2016, he completed his MA studies in opera performance at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre, where he studied under Professor Vladimiras Prudnikovas. In 2012, he started his solo career at Kaunas State Music Theatre, and in 2016, after a successful audition, he started to sing at the Lithuanian Opera and Ballet Theatre. He has participated in master-classes led by famous European vocal pedagogues and conductors, including Violeta Urmana, Bernard Epstein, Vincenzo Manno, Tamara Novečenko and Sesto Quatrini. Žygimantas often gives concerts in Lithuania and abroad, together with his wife, the pianist Paulė Galinienė.
