Jihyun Kim (b. 1988) studied church music and organ at the Seoul Theological University and Korea National University of Arts. For Master's Degree, she switched to the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy Leipzig. Currently, J. Kim is studying Konzertexamen at the University of Music and Theatre Hamburg. She has been studying German, French and Netherland organ traditions with Jin Kim, Choong-sik Hong, Martin Schmeding, Pieter van Dijk and Wolfgang Zerer.
